Worth a try

I have been here a couple of times, as i have driven past many times and have seen the special offers they do and was quite tempted. They do cheap curry nights and pie nights, unfortunately when we went, there were no offers on. Inside it's quite nice, nothing special and not the most scenic of pubs / restuarants, but okay, clean enough. The menu was okay, i wasn't thrilled by the choice on offer and the prices weren't exactly cheap for an average pub/resturant like this place. So i must confess the choice and prices did disappoint me a little. I ordered a typical roast dinner and the food was hot and fairly tasty, again nothing to write home about! The staff were lovely and were very attentive and friendly. I must say i would go again on a cheap special night to see what the food was like then, but i wouldn't go out of my way to eat or drink here.
