if your thinking about kenneling your dog dont go to lower hey farm mossley as i leaved my dog for 10days in august 2008 i got him back nearly dead he had lost 4kg in the time he was there losing blood from every where and was dehydrated i took him to the vets straight away and over 2 weeks it cost me nearly £900 he was not the same dog and still suffering today. if you care about you pet go somewhere else.
Mr j P.
I have taken my dog to lower hey kennels the past 3 times i have been away. She stays in the small dog block. The kennels are very clean and there is a radio playing and fans blowing to keep them cool in the summer. I just have one query which I would like to get to the bottom of and that is when I collect my dog she is always very very thirsty. I noticed that none of the dogs have water in their kennels. Is this normal for kennels? I assume they get water with their food, does anyone know? Do you have any views about these kennels. I am a little worried because in the summer my dog drinks about 3 pints of water a day. My dog always seems happy to go there though and greets the kennel owners when we arrive. Would really like anyone else's views, thanks
